We are an independent team of live music enthusiasts who have embraced the Philly music scene over our many years of residency in this city. We frequently attend concerts, festivals, and other programming in the city, support local and touring acts, and encourage others to do the same.

At the same time, we’re introverts, and we totally get the anxieties of voyaging into areas unknown. In our discussions with those who are “live music curious”, we’ve fielded a lot of questions and concerns about venues and their programming. While many local venues have great websites or FAQ pages, we thought it useful to have a centralized place where people could go to get answers, and thus we designed this guide, sourcing from those existing resources and/or our personal experiences with attending shows.

We hope that by providing this high level information and the fostering of a community where people can discuss the scene, we can help people overcome some of the barriers that delay or prevent them from seeking out live music. In the end, we just want people to engage with the wonderful array of live music, gigs, and festivals that this city has to offer.

We’re launching this website as an initial start, but we look forward to developing more resources and encourage you to stay tuned for more information.
