About the venue
Originally known for it’s gritty dive bar aesthetic, Old City’s Khyber has had a historical presence in the Philly rock and punk scene, hosting an array of notable artists during the 90s and 00s. Since then, Khyber Pass Pub has modified its layout, now hosting a gastropub on the first floor and live music venue upstairs for smaller acts.

How do I enter the venue? What is the process?
The entrance to Khyber Pass is on 2nd St, with a single step leading up to main entrance. The venue is on the second floor directly to the right as you enter and up a narrow staircase. Security may check your ID as you enter.
A door to the right will enter to the second floor bar where someone will check your tickets.
A hallway to the left of the bar will lead to the venue area.
Is there a bag policy? What can I bring to the venue?
There is no set bag policy.

Khyber Pass is typically a General Admission standing venue – special events might have seating and it will be specifically mentioned within the event description. For a typical general admission show there may be very limited barstools in the main venue area.

Khyber Pass Pub is an intimate spot to catch an up-and-coming acts that has hosted bands like The War on Drugs, The White Stripes and The Strokes before they got famous. Look out for DJ nights and comedy events as well.
